Mayo Constuction Company was a subcontractor on this project to Martin Construction. The paving portion of this project was added by the Owner, Mountrail County, as a change order. This was completed a year after the grading and base operations. The project provided asphalt-paved roads toa recreational area and populated residential areas along the northside of Lake Sakakawea at White Earth Bay, a key scenic area of North Dakota between New Town and Williston. This was the first mainline paving project utilizing CAT SDX screed plate system. Mayo Construction Company is appreciative of Butler Machinery, one of our equipment suppliers, for allowing us to be involved with the production of a YouTube video from CAT highlighting SDX Screed Plate System.
